Jared started making jewelry a few years ago for Christmas gifts. Everyone loved what he'd done and encouraged him to make more to sell. Jared carefully chooses his materials, using a shopping trip from his rural community as an excuse for dinner at a good Italian restaurant. He gets help with wire wrapping and cutting, but the work is truly his own. He really has an eye for design and does custom pieces for proms, weddings, Mother's Day, etc. Other than the occasional man buying a gift, the female clientèle are Jared's motivation to keep on working!
